Each summer Sierra Service Project  takes about 2,000 teens to five Native American Indian Reservations in Nevada, Arizona and Idaho to help the local communities. in this the author is stating how many youth get to go some services, and by stating this she is trying to recruit more youths to join the program.

Senior Project Proposal

Proposed Topic in the form of an  Essential Question:

How can I, as an individual help undeserved Native American community in the west?
  Rationale for Choice
What about this topic appeals to you? Why did you choose it?
what appeals me the most about MY topic is the meaning.  SSP which stands for Sierra Service Project. meaning  helping underserved Native American community in the west; Sierra Nevada are. I choose this because I like the idea of helping others. I like to make other people Happy, I like bringing joy to people; and also the idea of many individuals such as I dedicated their time to work with others to help those who are in need of help. 
What do you already know about this subject?
I no that this is a organization created by churches that recruit teens and adults and take them to this mission trip to help build houses, wheel chairs ramps, fix roof... for poor Native Americans citizens. 

What are you hoping to learn about the subject?
well in regards to all my volunteering works that am gonna do for this subject that i choose, I will like to learn how to build a wheel chair ramps, also learn how to build houses. it will be a really good experience for me; and am excited to do it. 
What are you most interested in regarding the topic?
I am most interested to find out more facts about this organization, more fact about other things they do.                                                                                                                                               
What potential risks or challenges do you foresee for your project?
I don't see any potential risk or challenges of doing this project. I sort have a lots of information regarding to my topic; I have an idea of what am gonna write about my topics. I have lots of sources to find out more debt about my topic. so am set... :)
